5H Shooting Sports (5H) and AmaTerra, Environmental Resource Group (ERG) Texas have prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for public review and comment. The Draft EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the proposed new facility construction within the 5H Shooting Sports at 19105 County Road 4235, Frankston, Texas 75763. The proposed development includes a new facility on the east side of the existing clubhouse building and will include a new administration area, restrooms, a classroom, several storage closets, and a vestibule of 10 lanes.
5H and Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) will accept public comments for thirty (30) days from the date of this posting ending February 10, 2025. Upon the expiration of the comment period, 5H with ERG and TPWD will review and address the public comments in the Draft EA. The Final Environmental Assessment will be submitted to Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) and US Fish and Wildlife Services (USFWS) for their consideration.
