David Jones is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel who served in the US Marine Corps and US Army for 33 years. David has had a lifetime interest in survival, preparedness and firearms and founded Assegai Survival Systems to share his love of the outdoors and to teach others the skills to operate and survive in difficult situations. The training approach at Assegai Survival Systems is to teach our students the tried-and-true method of crawl, walk and run. Upon completion of our firearm, survival and tactical courses, our graduates will have the requisite skills to prepare themselves and others to face with confidence life threatening and catastrophic events and to live up to the Assegai Survival Systems motto to "Stay off the X".
